03/15/2009: Cutler vs. McDaniels

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that the Cutler vs. McDaniels issue is finally beginning to mellow out. Yes, there's two sides to each story, and in this particular case I believe both men have made their share of mistakes. First, why would the rumor of Cutler's supposed "trade" evolve so dramatically if there wasn't an innitial spark of conversation about it? I feel that's a major first strike for the new coach. Second, why didn't Cutler attempt resolving the situation by properly communicating with his coach rather than point all fingers--or at least one--towards his direction. I just wish these guys would get over this and settle it. And yeah, I can even understand why each side could be annoyed...but come on men!!!
