| Favorite Broncos Memory | I have several: 1st: When I met John Elway and had my picture taken with him. I was in total AWE standing next to the greatest "QB" of all time. 2nd: Was this past year (2007) when I flew out to Denver with my room-mate who has family in Greeley. Little did I know that at the time I was there the Broncos were hosting their annual Fan Fair Day. Needless to say I went and had the best time. Being in the stadium was very overwhelming for me because in all the years I have been a fan, I wasn't able to afford the airfare, hotel and ticket prices. This may seem silly but I actually teared up when I was standing in line to meet Jay Cutler on June 1, 2007, because my dream had finally come true after all these years!!! It felt good being surrounded by other Bronco Fans. I live in a city that breeds unruly Jaguar Fans. So after experiencing the Fan Fair Day and Invesco Field I decided that I needed to come back for a game or two...and that I did...I flew back for the game against the Jags (hated that we lost!!) and the Kansas City game. I froze my butt off during that game (21 degrees) but is was well worth it. 3rd: Seeing John get inducted into the Hall of Fame 4th: Elway's Leap 5th: Winning BACK TO BACK SUPERBOWLS!!!! |
