| Why I Love the Broncos | I was born and raised in Boulder County, CO -- just outside the Mile High City. You can't help but to love the BIG D when you're from the heart of Broncos Country (home of the Raiders Haters). I now live in Phoenix Metro and have to be one of the biggest Bronco fans in AZ. One of my first memories in life is watching the Orange Crush (THE O.C.) battle the Cowgirls in Superbowl XII back in '78. I've never quit loving & defending the Broncos -- not even after the 4th Superbowl loss in '90 when the fairweather fans were bad mouthing 'em and sportin' other teams' gear. I always came back with, "being AFC Champs is a lot to be proud of... we'll take it next time!" I BLEED orange and blue, but still dig the 50th anniversary throw-backs. The striped socks are sick & twisted -- like the Wicked Witch of the East. In addition, I played football for 8 years. |
