I was born and went directly into a Broncos outfit in Montana, and to a family that watched every Broncos game like nothing else on that day. When I was 17 my Uncle brought me down for a game and that was a turning point in my life. I loved the crowd and the weather and going to games. So, I went to school in Hawaii I still went to games every time I came to the mainland. I used the excuse that it was cheaper to fly into Denver and Rent a car. In 2001 I made 5 games while still living in Hawaii living off noodles. After undergrad I accepted a job in California, But it was closer to the Broncos then Hawaii. That year I made 5 games and the Next year I was off to Grad school in NYC. Every Sunday that year I met a friend at the local Broncos bar and cheered them on. I only made the game in Baltimore that year and the Playoff game in Indianapolis. The next year I accepted a job in Denver and got a set of Season tickets from a friend in Montana. The first game of the season of 03 was the first game my mom and Grandma made and it was so much fun since they had been rooting them on for longer then I was alive. After that game I then started to make Road games and by the end of the season I had made every game and was Back at Indi, for another Heart breaking loss. The next year I started dating my wife and she had not even been to a pro game but loved the live games also. We started the season in Miami and that was not the best game to start her on but she took it like a champ. It helped that the Broncos won the next 5 games and she kept saying let’s make the next one. We made the rest of the games and she almost saw me cry when I moved to 0-4 in KC. And again I found myself making all 18 games sadly after buying SB tickets we could not get past Pitts. At the last Home game of the 04 year against the Raiders I went down to the field with my wife and gave her a ring on the 50 yard line. It was the scariest game ever because I did not want to propose at a loss. Thank God they won. The next year things started to get planned a little better. We decided we again were going to make all 16+. That year was a little up and down and I wish we could have pulled off the SF game, but since the Broncos played better on the road then at home it was a great year to make all 16. The game in NE was one of our best of all time. On the way over we took the train and all the fans were giving us a hard time and we took it in stride. After the game the train was so quiet. No one said a word for over an hour. You could see in their eyes that we owned them. Then there was the 08 year. The team did not play up to what it could have but it gave us the Buffalo game, Finally gave me a win in KC, and Winning against V-Young is never a bad game. So this season my Streak of Home and Away games is going to hold at 68 and we will see how far it goes. I have a few different goals One is to see a win in every stadium, the second goal is to make 200 game in a row. After that we will see where the streak takes us.
